Tempe Leadership is a nine-month leadership program that identifies emerging leaders and fosters leadership skills through education, experience and exposure, and service to our community in order to sustain qualified citizens, employees and leaders for the future of the Tempe Community. Since 1985, more than 400 men and women have graduated from the program. Each class consists of a diverse group of individuals from the business community, the city of Tempe, community volunteers and non-profit organizations. We invite you to join us as we connect, contribute and celebrate the Program’s many accomplishments that have greatly benefited our community.
Who?
Tempe Leadership alumni and members of the community are encouraged to attend the anniversary celebration to share memories and see how the community has been impacted over the years by this valuable program.

Why?
The event will feature a panel discussion about the importance of fostering leadership in our community. Panelists include U.S. Congressman Harry Mitchell, 5th District Arizona; Neil Giuliano, former Tempe Mayor; Ivan Johnson, Vice President of Cox Communications; and Mary Jane Crist, Vice President of Philanthropy at St. Joseph’s Hospital.
